Where can we find comfort?

Please consider that all of us need comfort at times. Not “comfortable” as in broken in or worn. I mean the comfort that allows us to rest, unwind, find a soft blanket and a gentle moment.

A word of comfort

There are many 
Heavy rains
And the storms are passing through.
There are days that weigh so heavy
On your family and on you.

We see so much
We cannot touch
The problems far from here.
We think and worry
And Sometimes 
Fury
Stems from all our fear.

Where is there any comfort?
Any time
Or space to rest?
To find the treasure
Only we can measure
To Calm our anxiousness



Where can we go for comfort?
A soft blanket wraps us warm
When life stings us
Comfort brings us
A settled, loving heart.

Where can you go for comfort?
When your eyes are looking down.
Your hope is off
You start to scoff
Your face is full of frown.

The comfort is around us
In the love and smiles we see
We may feel alone
Tired to the bone
A hand of kindness will succeed

Where do we go for comfort?  
To each other it is true
So reach out and hold
 a hand dear soul
It’s the best thing we can do
Be my comfort, and I’ll be yours.
Let kindness rain and comfort pour.
